We are supporting a growing payments & fintech company in hiring a Partners Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with external partners across the payment ecosystem.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, compliance, finance, and business development. The successful candidate will take ownership of the full partner lifecycle – from onboarding and documentation to operational coordination, revenue growth, and long-term partnership development.
In addition to managing existing partners, this role will also contribute to business development activities, helping expand the partner network and identify new commercial opportunities.
Over time, the position is expected to evolve into a leadership role, with responsibility for building and leading a small team of partner managers as the company scales.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, structuring processes, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and contributing to business growth in a fast-moving fintech environment.
What you’ll do
Partner onboarding & lifecycle management
- Coordinate partner onboarding processes from initial pre-checks through documentation and operational setup
- Support preparation and collection of commercial, legal, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate onboarding steps across legal, compliance, finance, and technical teams
- Ensure smooth partner integration and operational readiness
Partner relationship management
- Act as the primary operational contact for partners
- Manage partner requests, operational changes, and ongoing communication
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships
- Ensure partners receive consistent and coordinated support across internal teams
Sales & business development
- Identify and develop new partnership opportunities
- Support expansion of the company’s partner network
- Participate in commercial discussions and partnership negotiations
- Work with internal teams to structure commercial models and partnership setups
- Contribute to revenue growth through partner relationships
Cross-team coordination
- Work closely with compliance, finance, product, and technical teams
- Ensure partner onboarding and operational processes are efficient and compliant
- Maintain a clear and structured partner experience across departments
Monitoring & reporting
- Track partner performance metrics and operational indicators
- Support preparation of internal reports and analysis
- Identify trends, potential issues, and improvement opportunities in partner operations
Future team leadership
- Contribute to the development of partner management processes
- Support the scaling of the partner operations function
- Over time, lead and mentor a team of partner managers (expected team size: ~3 people)
What You Bring
- Experience working with partners, merchants, or clients in fintech, banking, or payments
- Experience or strong interest in sales, partnerships, or business development
- Understanding of partner onboarding, legal structures, and compliance documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple processes and stakeholders simultaneously
- Leadership mindset with readiness to take ownership and grow into a team lead role
- Comfortable working in international business environments
- Fluent English, Russian – strong advantage (frequently used in partner communication)

- Experience working with EMI, PSP, or crypto-related setups
- Ability to review legal documentation or understand commercial agreements
